They will of course give me a new IP address for free, and I should press 1 to be connected to a technician- which, of course, I didn’t do. Blocked.

If you say you have had no accident, they mostly hang up the phone and that's it... I have been using the ShouldIAnswer mobile application from these pages, works fine, can stop such calls and also a range of numbers (very useful for call centres). No problems.
