Strong foreign asking for me by my first name. Wanting to know if I was a housing association/council tenant and discuss paying for costs of repairs/damages. Very difficult to understand. Not at all relevant to me and I believe it was a scam.

This is the third Telephone I have received. It is a scam for Amazon card order for £300 and Money transfer of a £1000. Do not reply.
A voice said he was James from Relief Energy who said; "I've been trying to call you for a few days now, actually." Well, nobody has been trying to call me when I was at home, and as I check my phone whenever I've been out, then I know for sure that it's nonsense so I just hung up. Sounded sort of robotic, I suspect it was a recording. Unsettling and therefore I marked it as "Dangerous".SCAM

Insurance SPAM This number and very similar numbers have been calling me daily for a couple of weeks. I have missed the previous calls but answered today. A very well spoken man said he was calling from some company (I didn't catch the name) to do with my Scottish Widows life insurance. When I told him I don't have a policy he asked if I'd cancelled it and I told him I had and that I don't need life insurance. He immediately told me to have a good day and hung up. My number on contract with o2 taken over by fraudster. O2 cancelled the number but it has been used in attempts to access my credit cards. Also possibly being used as a debit card app. number. Police and Action Fraud are aware.

This is a local phone number to me. A recorded message,claiming to be from debit card reporting a payment of £900 was used on online shopping. This is obviously a scam, as there are no banking facilities in this area Automated call SCAM
Utilities Said they were from Virgin media, Indian Accent, knew my name. Said they wanted to make sure is was getting the best service then asked for first line of address and post code, which i didn't give. My view is that if I felt I wasn't getting a good service then I would contact them. All in all an unwanted call.

Called me 6 times in the past 3 weeks. I have missed all the calls as they happened when I am working. They have never left me a message which makes me assume either dodgy or cold calling. After reading other people's comments below I have blocked the number - if it is green peace as some suggest then I have no idea how they have got my number. I have never donated to Greenpeace however I may well have signed petitions but I don't think you usually give out your phone number when you sign a petition
