SCAM Received an automated message from this number, claiming to be HM Revenue and Customs, threatening "legal consequences" if they didn't hear back from me or my solicitor. The voice sounded like a basic text-to-speech engine, so doubtful anyone would fall for this, but wanted to leave this note seeing as no one else has yet.

Are based in Scotland with no known office in 01305 exchange area. Have calls from Scotland re-routed through local exchange numbers in order to persuade people to answer a local number. If you call it back, then the call is again re-routed back to their Scotland office. Not sure if this is an illegal practice under telephony legislation, but would be interested if anyone can come up with the legislation about having calls re-routed to give the answering CLI the impression that the call is local.
Got a call from this number +442476755510 number advising that they were from Atrac Solutions (or this is what it sounded like). Asking to confirm my address details which I refused to confirm yet the caller was very pushy and continued in his persuit for this information. I asked what was the busines reason for the call but he failed to divulge this information. I kindly advised that I wouln t be answering any information until he at least told me why he was calling. I explained to her not to ring me if she dosnt know who shes talking to, and she even had the gaul to try to make me answer security questions first,haha. I politely told her not to ring me again and told her to P-Off but i did explain what the initial P stood for. She did then say she would remove my number from her list. hopefully

SCAM A recorded message from 'Crystal at BT technical support' to tell me that they had detected that 'your security has been breached; dial 1 to speak to BT technical support. Clearly a scam of some nature, I didn't bother to dial 1 to find out what exactly.
