Caller spoke with an Asian accent purporting to be from Virgin Media Technical Support, when I challenged him and said I was also a computer engineer, he terminated the call without saying what he had called for

Called back after an hour, this time it was answered and they are a company trying to re-surface your drive. Nothing like dealing with local companies, we are on the south coast and they are in Doncaster!!

Twice when I picked up the phone the line went dead. The third time, a lady said something which included the words "Tax refund" but, despite asking her to repeat herself several times, I could not make out anything else she said as she had a very strong foreign accent. So I blocked the number.

I missed a call from this number just now (3.4.23 at 12.51). My son works in Glasgow and I was worried that something might have happened. I tried to call it back x3 and each time, after a long pause, the call failed to connect.

They got really angry when they kept asking me to confirm the account number. It feels so good wasting their time when then had full intentions of wasting myne / whilst trying to rob me blind . The callers from this number are scammers. They called claiming to be 3 Mobile and wanted me to upgrade to a new contract when I only just renewed my contract with the real 3 Mobile a couple of months back and my existing contract is locked for another 10 months. When I asked the idiot to email me the offer to review, they asked me for my email address and if they were really 3 Mobile they would already have it in their records.
