SCAM: the number that called was too long to be identified as a phone number - it had 006 44 in front of it, which is probably deliberate to make it impossible to search. I could hear a call centre. Indian sounding guy asked for me by name. Told him he had the wrong number & he hung up.

I ve been called 5 times today from this number. The caller is difficult to understand in a heavy Asian/Indian accent. Different approach each time he calls, the first time telling me he was from British Gas your electricity provider and wanting to renew my contract, (i m with another company) so I asked him to stop calling and please remove me from his calling list, he just carried on with his spiel so i put phone down. This is a scam caller pretending to be from a Lyca phone provider offering cheap contracts, the company they are pretending to be are Mobiles.co.uk. They tried offering me a £35 contact for 24 months for a Samsung S23 ultra, which was too good to be true worked out at (£840.00).
