Recorded message about PPI. Seriously, if I d a) had PPI and b) wanted to give some random company 30% of any compensation I could perfectly well obtain by doing it myself, then I would have answered one of their SIX previous calls or one of the hundreds, possible thousands of calls from other swindlers.
Asian caller claiming I was being awarded a government grant of £8000 for being a good citizen. The money was just for me to spend as I wished as long as it wasn't for illegal purposes. He gave me a 'unique' code DV678 and told me to ring 0203 2391126 immediately, quoting this code. He asked me to repeat the code and number to ensure I had it correctly written but became agitated when I said I couldn't ring now as I was on my way to work.
