This phone number called me about a loan I apparently was applying for and said they would send me an email, they asked for my account number and sort code, I still haven't received the email and I am not happy that these people have got my details, thank God it isn't my main account.

SCAM Told me they were from Virgin media and that they had notifications on their system of bad Internet connectivity asked how many devices I had and then wanted me to go on a PC or laptop to authorise them onto said computer so they could show me what was wrong ????? They are dangerous, selling the iPhone on a cheap contract that is too good to be true, just told them to mind their business twice, persisted twice, soon hung up.

SCAM Recorded voice saying that my bank account had been requested to pay Amazon £700 and some other organisation £2000!! Press 1 to authorise, and 2 to speak to a customer representative. I declined both options and checked my account online to find, surprise, surprise, there were no such transactions.

Probably not a call from Orpington - there was a clicking before a connection was made suggesting a spoof number. A south asian female voice asked for me by name. I said not me and asked who she was. The call was then immediately ended at her end. In my view this is highly likely to be a dangerous scam call.
