A new nuisance caller with the usual energy scams
Fraud. Indian/Pakistani male in a busy call centre. Said he was from BT. Asked what my internet speed is & said use speedtest,net to find out. Gave him some made up numbers. He said I can get faster speeds & told me to go to teamviewer.com. We use Teamviewer legitimately in our business, I know what can be done with it. Just had a call from this number at work but no message left. I m pretty sure it s yet another scam number...
I ve been getting calls from this number on and off for a year and two things happen I answer and total silence or they attempt to make me buy a higher priced data pack and when I state that I don t need a higher priced data pack and even if I did I would just change it directly with their app they start getting more aggressive about it. My sister also just got a call from them and I just told her to hang up if they start poking for personal details which they did, me and my sister have blocked this number

This company is very aggressive and uses several tactics purporting to be an energy supplier or meter registration dept. They are energy consultants without qualms and trying to scare end users into agreeing a contract over the phone by saying that they are on extortionate out of contract rates, etc. Best way to deal with these people is to say you have signed a long-term contract and therefore not interested in their services.
