NUmber appears to be from a company alled DeVere's. A financial services company who offer finnancial services such as wealth planning, tax optimisation schemes, moving final salary pensions to tax shelters abroad, etc. I have had no personal dealings with the company and cannot comment on their service. I was cold called. I assume they saw that I was a former employee of a blue chip company and they offered to move my final salary pension abroad. They could be perfectly legitimate, I cannot say.

I have been called on numerous occasions throughout the day from the number originating from Doncaster. I have no connection with Doncaster personally or work related. I have checked all policies held and none correspond. Probably easier to answer the call to confirm but this has the feel of a scam/cold call.

After contacting Santander, through their fraud line, they confirmed it was their number, and are indeed, asking customers to go paperless.
Call asking if i had suffered an accident i put phone down and blocked.
Similar threatening conversation as above. Claimed to be HMRC, asked for DOB & NI number. When asked for confirmation in writing he threatened police action!

Best cold call ever. I answered, I was asked for by name and I asked who was calling. The fella said AMS Legal so I said I m not interested and put the phone down. They called back straight away and straight off the same person said what are you not insterested in? - I laughed and said are you for real to which he replied yes, very much and you ll never know about the opportunity that you ve just missed out on and hung up. Internet Called advising they were from Sky. My internet was corrupted and IP address stolen. They would be sending engineers. I know Sky do not work this way. Asian sounding gentleman gave name as Gavin James Feels like a scam as all through states wont cost a penny. Told him my husband is a police inspector. Call ended.
