Recorded message saying that HMRC had issued a warrant for my arrest for tax fraud. Having worked with HMRC for many years I was immediatley able to spot this as a scam. Very dangerous and worrying for someone not as experienced as me. If you receive this call, hang up immediately! Do not press any other key or reply to the message!
Hard to know whether or not this was a scam call though it had some hallmarks. The caller's voice sounded like someone who phoned from a different number only yesterday and the MO was similar. She asked to speak with Mrs N (my mother) and when I said she wasn't available she couldn't get off the phone quickly enough; refused to share the name of the organisation she was calling from and said she'd get someone to call later. I don't think this is the way legit businesses operate. I blocked the number.

SCAM, Robo automated caller saying they are HMRC, just to let everyone know HMRC would never call you like this for any reason, these are all scam callers.
01675594266 there information states I had a car accident in the last 2 years where my car was written off. I haven't owned or driven a car in 9 years.
I answered the call today as I have family in Egypt and I was only on for less then 2 minute, and now I have a £65 charge in my phone bill for answering! Do not answer this number!

I ve received 17 calls in 48 hours, sometimes within minutes of each other! I ve threatened to use another provider which has triggered these calls, but even so, that s ridiculous and they never leave a message. I ve emailed them to tell them I will only converse with them via email as I m sick of being insulted by their foreign call centre workers! Pain in the ****, looks like some other lucky SP is about to get my business!!!
