An Asian gentleman called apparently on behalf of a company called Housing ???. (Couldn't understand the second part of the company name). Claimed that they helped tenants with repairs like mould etc. He knew my name, but didn't seem to know much else, seeing as I am not currently a tenant anywhere

When i questioned him about it he could only give my name nothing else. I then saod citizens advice now call random calls he then said he works for citizens governments advice. No idea which company, or who is behind it. missed 2 calls so far when ringing back it will answer with an american text to speech voice and play music while it connects you to whoever. waited and waited and then the phone hung up automatically. Unsure if this is a scam or just a neauseunce.

Claimed to be from Virgin, calling about internet. Got increasingly frustrated with me when I said I didn’t recognise the number and would call Virgin myself. Didn’t believe the guy with Indian accent and I hung up when he wouldn’t go away. Scary as it sounded like a big call centre in the background and it would be easy to get sucked in. Hope everyone hangs up and karma catches up with what I believe are scammers.

Received a call from this number advising me that I had opened an account with them in 2015 and they had some info for me, I said that I was not interested, at this the caller got quite irate. One minute later on 07703290831 they rang back and started to be very abusive saying that I should not have hang-up on them. Both numbers have been blocked.

They keep texting me offering a job that doesn’t exist even though I asked them to stop.
SCAM !! Pretended they were from my mothers bank after sending her a text pretending it was from her daughter who needed money. Scammed her out of £2800. Voice on phone was English. Reported to Barclays fraud. Phone calls from this number were persistent insisting money hadn’t gone through and no doubt trying to extort more money.
