This number is clearly a scam stating taxes are owed & legal proceedings will be started. 1. The terminology (& robotic voice) is American. 2. HMRC will never phone you. They will message you to go to your on-line account.

SCAM. Claiming to be calling from Sky. Had a very pronounced Asian accent and claimed to be named Jackie Wilson! When challenged she hung up.

Allegedly from Virgin Media calling at 07:45hrs with female call centre voice after delayed pickup. Clearly scam as they put the phone down after we asked (politely) if they knew what time it was in the morning.....

Got a text from that number at 14:28 today stating: "Hey mum I've smashed my phone, please message me on this number 447706598765 urgently x I'm texting of a friends phone". I checked with my child and they said they never contacted me, therefore this must be a scam.
Received a text message from this number allegedly about a delivery by EVRI - as I am expecting a delivery (from DHL) I precipitately clicked on the link which read; EVRI(UK10094786). Out of curiosity I navigated to the EVRI website and entered a combination of the above and the full set. EVRI did not recognize it any of it. Jason Phillips called me from this number and then sent 2 email copy letters with Financial Ombudsman Service at top right of the letters, stating a big refund for my solar PV. He asked for covering payment upfront saying it is needed to cover costs of UK Law Associates before a refund could be arranged. I had no positive proof of who he was/is and declined the payment. I am perusing this through the ombudsman who is handling the case of mis-sold pv for me.
