Indian man claiming to be from BT Openreach. He alleged that there was a problem with my internet connection and was trying to talk me into giving away personal/router/system details. He couldn't give the address of the property where the internet connection was located, and eventually gave up/hung up. Scam/Fraud caller
Telemarketing scum seem to have got a new contract, as although others suggest they called on behalf of Orange, I am with Vodafone.

A man asking for semi permanent make-up, would not give me his address for me to send him a patch test! Then wanted to book a whole day with me for a full works of pampering! The semi permanent make-up, and hair cut but then went on to say he wanted his hair coloured and teeth whitening! His messages were weird so I googled his number to find other complaints about him! Much like the other reviews, my 83 year old Grandmother was called and told the warranty on her boiler had run out and that they needed to take payment to renew it. No explanation of who they were etc. Reported it as fraud to her bank but also called to cancel policy and ask for full refund. Worried now that this may not be honoured after reading other posts. Awful, underhand, dishonest sales tactics. Bet they re laughing all the way to the bank.

SCAM. This number came through as a text and purports to be a dhl non-delivery notice with a link. The link takes you to a ‘google prize lottery’ which I didn’t bother to take further, but it’s obviously nothing to do with DHL. Have marked it as annoying and have blocked the number.

SCAM call recorded message claiming to be from HMRC stating that a tax fraud case has been raised against me. I immediately put the phone down these are known scams that try to get you to press a number on your key pad so they can charge you stupid amounts for a fake call.

Had a call just now from some "traffic company". Could hear several other voices. I said "You sound like an Indian scam call centre" He hung up

01244 521272 rang and a male with a foreign accent said hello my name is Michael calling from Technical Solutions Dept I told him I should not be receiving cold calls but he was talking over me so I disconnected the call. When I checked the number showing on my landline screen it flashed between International and 01244 521272 of which one is a code close to me and the number was the same as a company I have had recent dealings with which has a different area code. Very strange probably a scam.

I read in the press that the STAR 9500 smartphone has been found to have a factory installed trojan virus. So I disabled my STAR 9500 and moved the sim card to an old phone. A few days later the old phone reported a missed call and a text message. The message was just this number. I didn t call it back.
