Asked me to follow a link in a text message because my PayPal account had been suspended. Obviously a scam as I don't have and never had a PayPal account.
SCAM. Received text message from this number claiming to be from H.S.B.C fraud alert. Do not click on link should you receive a similar message from this number. They just want your online banking details.
I was called by number 090432929, not 09043967, and this number is from Great Britain? I don't know anybody from Great Britain! We keep getting calls from strangers who most likely just want to sell us something, but I don't even pick up the phone anymore when we receive such calls and the number is not from my hometown. For that reason I once again don't know who exactly called us this time, but it's annoying!

I have not answered to these people. Not once. Yet, they call at least weekly. I ve got a years line rental with BT paid for up-front, which allows me to block 99% of unwanted calls (with a BT blocker phone purchased separately, in case anyone was wondering). This caller would likely be asking to speak with Mr Strevitt or Mr Gwendoline. As has been the nature of the calls for the past 3 years. Not sure, but seemed to want all my ID details to confirm the refund I was to receive in couple of days, and was vague about who was calling, claimed to be some sort of Financial Authority. Number is Manchester area, and with all due respect to friends in Manchester, apart from Blackburn Lancashire, a call centre dialled call from Manchester rings more alarm bells than phone bells.
Missed a call from these and now i have checked and seen it is another car accident scam company. I keep getting these all the damn time. I thought i had my number blocked but it seems not. These people need to be taught a lesson and more regulations about cold calling need to be implemented and enforced. So sick of these calls.

As a person who works in the It industry I can tell you that these people are not qualified to be "Microsoft certified technicians. They lack the knowledge and expertise. They are extremely persistent about these" hackers" and "viruses" when most of them probably don t exist in the first place. As the other guy said, play around with them. It s fun!

At best this a company that breaks the PECR regulations by calling people on the TPS list. At worst it s a scam preying on older people because they don t seem to have a website and are asking whether you re over 65. Don t give them any information, just report them to the Information Commissioner s Office. T
