I need to know if these people are scammers I I answered the phone and the lady called and said that it is regarding an insurance taken out on a television Three years ago.

Purports to be from NatWest about fraud on my card, unfortunately I do not have a NatWest account at all. Clear attempted phishing.

They just phoned my elderly father-in-law on his land line and luckily my husband had just arrived at the house when they phoned. They told him that they were the National Crime Agency and that there had been fraud on his bank account. They rang off before I answered, when I called back there was a message saying the agents were all busy. Probable call centre.

This company have phoned and asked me to hold to be tranferred to an 'operative'which I did, but after 5 minutes of holding I ended the call, then they rang a few days...

Does anyone know who the caller is,? my gut instinct says its a scammer from overseas as for it to be from a uk land-line there would need to be another digit in the second part...

Caller wanted to speak to Mr P..., a false name I once used with another cold caller. He confirmed my name (Mr P.... ), address and phone number. He wanted to conduct a survey. When I asked him its purpose he ended the phone call.

Keep getting random calls from this number, some say marketing some say debt collectors. First they called tried to confirm that the were speaking to the person they were calling for. Annoyingly they would read back my address. Then they would ask if they could do a short survey. another time they have an Indian accent and sometimes they have an English accent. Sometimes Indian man.
