Only heard background chatter. Sounds like a call centre...Caller hanged up when answering machine came on and phone not picked up.

15:29 19/7/16. Did not appear to know my name, address or location, as did not refer to any - so just cold call to landline. Claimed to be from BT security and that there was a problem with my router. I asked who are BT? (jut to wind him up) - the answer he gave was the only truth in his call. He wanted me to check and confirm some details on my router. I told him I did not believe what he said, I was not going to give him any information and that I was going to hang up - which I did.

The caller left a message for me to call Amazon membership account if I don t want £79.99 to be deducted from my card account. But didn t leave the phone number to call.

Been getting calls from this number. Have now tried the 0203 365 9055 to get taken off the list. Lets see if it works. NB. I also donate to the RSPCA by standing order if the calls dont stop I am going to cancel it and then some poor little doggies will have to go hungry. My sanity comes first.

This comes up as a Liverpool number .of is a company dealing with PPI. Very polite young man who was straight to the point regarding what the call was for. After asking a few questions, the usual ones about whether I d had any loans, credit cards, catalogues etc, he said he would get the system updated so that they didn t call again. Just about the most polite call I ve ever had regarding PPI!!

Calls to our (call screened, not on BT) number from 0800 044 5265. No message left, multiple attempts on multiple days. Calling that 0800 number says they are Stellar a partner of BT, and to call BT on 0800 028 2272. Don t bother if you aren t on BT. They ll tell you "you aren t on BT, we have no record of you!". Automated call supposedly from Amazon, asking me to press certain numbers, knew straight away it couldn t be Amazon, so put the phone down after five seconds or so.
