Rang me claiming to be from ‘social housing’, I queried which one and she said ‘the council’. Told her to stop harassing me and she starts saying ‘you’re no one, who do you think you are telling me what to do’. She not so politely got told where to go.

Fraud Sent me a txt message claiming to be from the Halifax saying I had set up a direct debit to screwfix and to call this number if I had not done this. Put me on hold then a chap with a foreign accent asked me for details, I said I will double check with my online banking and he hung up. Scam

I received a call from this number claiming to be O2 but they tried to reset my account information I ended the call and called O2 to confirm it was in fact a fraud caller

They will call you and claim there is a problem with your internet. When asked they are unable to confirm the name of your provider and will suddenly say Sky. When challenged they said I was a F------ Liar and procedd to hang up.

SCAM. Phishing scam text message “ Your Apple Pay has been suspended, please update your details by visiting:” not including dodgy link in this comment.

Automated call claiming to be HMRC. An arrest warrant had been issued in my name for tax evasion. I did not press 1 to speak to someone.

SCAM I'm living in Norway and this person wouldn't stop calling me. Turned my phone of to get him to stop.

I had a call this afternoon apparently from this number 08000234567, which I know is the number of the Financial Ombudsman's Office, when the caller said he was from the fraud dept of my bank. I had called the Financial Ombudsman earlier in the day on that number. It did not feel right and when I challenged the caller he put down the phone. Somebody may be able to pick up the numbers of those who have called the FOO? I will tell the FOO by email as their phone system takes too long to get through!

00918045708684 called 30 May 23 at 10:38hours. Female voice advised that my "visa account had been debited £1xxxx from a gambling ??? in California, press 1 to talk to our ???. or 2 to authorise payment ", hung on for a short while to hear if anything followed..... nothing so hung up.

Michael the northerner posing as someone who lives in Ferndown, BH postcode, scamming multiple people out of £1000 for a deposit on a van (van make/model changes). Reported to Barclays, local police and action fraud. Urging anybody else to do the same. Michael operates under micharr_8952 on ebay Working with a “Pamela Gordon” who banks at Halifax, Liverpool Allerton Road branch Email domain is registered with AOL No luck reverse image searching yet, but not to worry, I have plenty of time :-)

Exactly the same situation as the previous reviewer. It's a fake, so do NOT ring it!

SCAM - number given in a text (from +44 7739741163) supposedly from Lloyds Bank, asking recipient to contact 01332556003 if a standing order for £537 to NVG Life Insurance had not been set up by the recipient. However, the recipient has no account with LLoyds!

This guy claims to a decorator may be he is, Nevertheless he hacks into peoples phones especially women, he must get some sort of kick out it. Be mindful if you receive a meme or messages via WhatsApp from him, suggest you delete it straight away and block him. In addition, if you receive a message/meme from a contact in your phone that they normal would not send delete it. Bank Scam: Call to my landline - a recording of a female robotic voice with an American accent told me that 2 transactions has been made on my card that were potentially fraudulent. The recording went on to tell me the transaction details and told me to press 1 to authorise them or press 2 to speak to someone
