Fraud When I answered this call there was an automated message seemingly from the DWP stating that my National Insurance number was going to be stopped because of fraud. The message asked me to press 1 to speak to an operator. I was then transferred to an open line where I could hear a lot of background noise, like a call centre, nobody said anything and then the line went dead. I then called the number back and a business selling plastic answered. Why people do this is a disgrace.

Lady with strong Indian Accent from Virgin Media technical said that hackers had got into my router (a hidden problem that affected other users too, not just me), and wanted to check it for me. I confirmed independently by dialling 150 and entereling my password. I was told that no technician had called my phone today, so it was either a phishing call or some attempt to gain control of my online device(s).

Received a call from a female. Stated Pension Review Service. Told me my name and address and DOB. Then passed me to a "Manager" and stated that a signing agent would come to my address. I agreed a time for them to attend so I could check them out. Obviously they didnt arrive. I checked the Pension Review Service Website which unsurprisingly had this number listed for a company posing as themselves. Something about over sold PPI or some other related excuse and I said I don t take unsolicited calls for marketing anything so please go away. Then, thanks to my Mobile phone menus I blocked their national number from contacting me again.
2 phone calls within an hour, no message left. Think it could be a scam, but I won't answer to find out, just going to block it unless others say this is am ok number
I ve been called daily by this number but I have a call blocker on my android phone called "Truecaller" (I am not a salesman) which filtered it straight away. It does have apps but is very effective for nuisance callers. Hope this helps.
