SCAM said they were Microsoft and had security alerts. Were very very abusive screaming foul language at me because I did not follow their instruction to connect to their system!!
Hung up as soon as I answered. I suspect this is a scam.

Called me claiming to be from "my provider" Vodafone. I'm not with Vodafone so hung up
Call from Amazon. Told to go online and check emails because somebody was taking £700 from my account. I said no and rang off. Called again wanting to know why I rang off and to get on the computer. I said no again but wouldn't take no for an answer I asked why not using Amazon number it was because it was a security number. Told unless I did as asked, payment would go ahead. I said OK go ahead.Told to be sure as call recorded. 'Good I replied, then you are also recorded. They rang off.

Whoever called from this number 02083131130 said they were from HMRC. This was an audio say that HMRC have been trying to get in touch and to press 1 to carry on the call.

Immediate hang-up. From entries on other sites anyone who manages to answer gets a silent/dead line. Exactly 24 hours laters calls begin claiming to be whatever mobile provider your voicemail said you were with (fake dealer scam). This is a new, and weird, one for me. Called my landline but disconnected when I picked up (now they know this is a live number,,,damn!!). No message left so I'll never know if I have been left millions of pounds from an unknown benefactor who needs me to handle his money, for a small fee, to help them evade paying local taxes or being claimed by a fictional Government department.

Fraud - I think. A male with I think and Asian accent called from this number. He asked for me by name and said he was calling from Microsoft then asked if I was the main user of the computer in my hone. I asked "Which Computer is that then?" and he hung up. Another number check site has lots of people checking this number and it appears to be from various different places so I think it must be an attempt to access a persons computer or something like that.
Claim to be my 02 provider. One of many attempts to access my account in last two days. Definitely scam. Ignore & block.
