This is the latest number using the old con about your IP address being compromised and will be cut off in 24 hours. The message was in an American accent, for fun I pressed 1 and was put through to an Indian call centre. I could hear lots of voices in the background. Unfortunately the line went dead before I could wind them up. The number is now barred!

This number just called my elderly mother and threatened her to pay an outstanding tax bill or go to jail.
Had a call from International on my blocking phone - it did not come through. One minute later I had a call from 01443741560 that also did not come through and was blocked. I called the number back and received a recorded message: The number you have dialed has not been recognised. So must conclude that it is Scam/Spam.

SCAM-Was at work. Don’t know anyone in Rotherham so ended call and blocked immediately. & from look of feedback glad I did. I am getting scam e mail attempts daily. Didn't even answer but they've been ringing 3 or 4 times a day, starting at 7am
Answered the phone . Heard background noises so hit call blocker button.Don t know how but it then rang on our extension phone. I ran downstairs and again no response. I hit the call blocker unit and successful came up. I am also on TPS scheme but the call blocker has been a Godsend as this is the only call that got through this month so recommend Call blockers which block International, 200 built in known blocks and all with held numbers.What a nuisance these people are.

Spoke to my father, said she was from a company that blocks his nuisance calls. He has no such service? (Is there even one other than BT called protect?) I suspect she was a scammer as we have had similar spiels from callers in the past one of which was desperately trying to get Dad to "confirm" his bank details.

I left this comment on the Voxbone SA Scam Number function, which is apart of their website. Number seems to possibly be a missed call scam of a 0845 number. The number calls at around exactly the same time everyday, and leaves a voicemail that is completely blank. 01794399253 called my landline on Thursday 13 July and a recorded message advised me that money had been transferred from my account and to key 1 to sort it. 01794 is a Romsey UK number as is my number so I assumed it was local. I did not continue with the call. It was the same as other messages that I have received recently mentioned Amazon. How do scammers phone from local numbers?

SCAM Pretending to be from EE... Sounded as if was from Indian people call centre offering me to make my package to half price. I'm not with EE he wanted my name then offered unlimited for £7 I refused to give any info at all.. I said you're getting nothing and hung up.. And now blocked.. Sick of them using UK numbers.
Fraud Left a computerised voicemail claiming that my Amazon account had been compromised, and that a refurbished iPhone had been ordered, costing over £300. Message was threatening to close my account if I don’t press 1, to speak to ‘Amazon primes fraud department’. Funnily enough, there’s no order on my account!
