FRAUD - Indian call centre wanted to get hold of a BT PIN number they had fraudulently triggered so they could take over my BTInternet account. Reported to BT.
It is a Natwest number as I spoke to a lady who works in my local branch. Only problem is when you call back it goes to a central team

absolute nightmare. called about 10 times a week from different numbers, even though i block the new number everytime. Asked them to take the number off the list.
Told me I had won 10 free lines in Amazon competition, and wanted me to join a lottery schemes for around £40 per month.
SCAM Automated voice trying to scare you into thinking there is an issue with insurance and your NI number. Completely bogus. DO NOT press any numbers and hang up immediately it is a frudulent scam.
Hung up as soon as I answered.

I used ring back - not a good idea on reflection. The male voice asked my name and so I asked his. He said "Roger". I felt this was a bit inadequate and so asked again at which point he got stroppy: "I ve told you". I hung up.

Fraud, said they were Virgin security. Went along with him for 3 mins, pressing buttons on my landline when he was telling me to go to AppStore. Then he asked about my phone line I said it was BT. He then said he was from BT. I didn’t point out at the start of the call he’d said he was from Virgin. He asked who provided my Internet connection, I said that I used to have the Internet but it broke about a year ago and as I didn’t use it I didn’t get it fixed. He hung up. Received a call from this number appertaining to be from Amazon asking me to confirm/cancel a purchase of £99. When I said cancel she asked me what device i used so she could send me a cancellation form? I said i was away from my computer but she said she would wait on the line until I was in front of it. She quoted my correct address but I didn't feel happy so ended the call.
