Called today. Recorded re two huge Visa card transactions. Realised it was a scam so pressed 1 to mess with them. Amateur scammer in the middle of a meal? Argued with her for a while until she hung up after becoming very irate.
Apparently a company called UK National. Called wanting to ask questions around my personal data, which I wouldn't provide. Requested how the caller had access to my data and to remove it, else will be reporting to the ICO. Caller had no idea what the ICO/GDPR was.
Unsolicited unwanted call from someone claiming to be Virgin Wines. Now blocked

Feel a bit uneasy about this number. Stated as being in Rochdale yet caller said was calling from Colchester.

SCAMMERS, asked if they are speaking to (my full name), I said yes and they said they have received a notification to investigate my account. I asked what the reason was for that and they said "well you have outstanding debt that you pay each month, is that right?" I said no, I don't have any debt and they hang up. I've never had a loan, not even an overdraft. So yeah, not a legit number/business.
Indian scammer called saying there have been charges of over £1500 on a debit card that I do not have, waisted 50 mins of my time playing along, when I told him I have over £235,000 in a saving account plus another £53,000 in other accounts he gave me this number to call, I said I will call them in a hour as I have a Doctors appointment.

This was a number linked to covid so unsure as to why now that covid is nolonger any threat that they would be trying to ring my mobile I didnt get 2 answer as 1st call i was at a hospital appointment and the 2nd we were rushing out of a very heavy downpour of rain So ive not actuall reason as to why they were trying to ring me

Got a call from this number claiming to be my current network provider, Vodafone giving 40% discount (...and I am not even with vodafone).. Was asking my name, address, email address etc.. Says he is from citizens advice bureau and asked me if I owe a lot of debt. They mentioned that they had some paperwork about me and that I have debts which I owe. Sounded suspicious so I said No I don’t owe anything and then they said goodbye and hung up. I think it’s s scam to be honest.
