I pressed 2 to speak to an agent many times just to be in a loop saying "an agent will be with you soon" finally I got through to them to someone asking for a person I do not know, I have lived at this address for 14 years and they have never lived here, I told this "Agent" this and he asked my name, address etc. to which I refused saying that I do not know you so why should I give you my name, he then got very abusive stating that I was this person, I owe £2,4

This company called me today - Thursday 20th July 2017. It s some automated robotic voice system, asking whever I ve been involved in a car accident recently. I repeatedly asked who is this and the call was aventually disconnected.

A call from Manchester, where I know nobody, so either a mistake, or an unsolicited call. In any case I didn’t answer.

To everyone that has lost money to these scammers I would ask you to get in touch with your local Trading Standards Officer, then apply to the Small Claims Court (it only costs £25.00 Online, which will be refunded to you.) They are based on wharf industrial estate in bury, Manchester and Blackburn. The staff who call have no idea, nor choice of who they ring as the system selects a number at random from their data, and only when the line opens do they see your name and address etc. They are legitimate in terms of what they are offering (a free hearing frequency test at your local football club/hotel) however, if you will receive any money should a claim be successful is questionable.
