A spam. Suggested that my British Telecom landline was about to be disconnected and I was to choose option one to pay or two to disconnect. I don't have a contract with BT.

They called a few times and hung up when I answered. Then they called again saying that they needed my expiry date on my credit card. I wasted their time until they hung up.

This number rings me on evenings and Saturdays and when I answer they just hang up. The second time this happened I rang the number back and it said you were called by pension booster, we will call you back again . I googled the company and e-mailed them to stop contacting me. They did for about 2 weeks and now they are bombarding me.

Claimed to be paid by Microsoft, insisted I switch on my computer which supposedly had a virus. Resisted and argued when challenged, became abusive and continued to try to persuade me (but failed). Threatened to block my connection. I told him where to go and hung up. He called back three times in a different voice and got told again where to go! One of many scammers trying the same old gag. This number is also linked to 08454290041. Received calls from both numbers within 15 minutes of each other. Ignored both of them as I don t deal with scrounging parasites.
