Received a call from this number a few minutes ago. They asked for me by my real name which i never use. Said they were calling from talk talk about upgrading my package. I told the girl i don t have a package with them, and she quickly replied that she was calling from Thomson Local. I enqired "Thompson Local?" To which she answered that she will call me back. I phoned the number back from another number and it went to an answering service saying it was talk talk. It s obviously a scam, someone trying to

Similar to other comments - caller said he was from Microsoft and said my computer had been sending them warning messages. Wanted me to log on so he could fix it ! He was a bit confused when I said I only had Apple computers and not Microsoft and then hung up when I told him that I would refer this to Action Fraud!

Called me twice within minutes of signing up for a quote with Polly. It s a life insurance company.
Samuel Brooks. supposed personal injury representatives continuously make calls, like every day, to my land line and my mobile, even though I have have registered with "TPS" I also notice that they use other numbers to bother people. Government must surely legislate against these continuous cold calls

Calling later in the day, a man started by being friendly "How are you today", but when his introductory spiel mentioned he d be asking questions to find my opinion, I interrupted him to say I don t do surveys. This is a number used by scammers trying to access your computer by telling you that it is infected, they guide you to view the syslog and look at the really bad infections. Then if you are daft enough they get you to open a command prompt window and log onto their website - result yhey have your computer and bye bye to lots of money
