Wife received a call from this number purporting to be Amazon support, advising that they had identified a problem on her account (in this case an order for an iPhone @ £499 which was being sent to an unusual address). Before I got involved they had asked her to install TeamViewer on her phone to "help her connect to the Amazon security system". Had a call from this number today to say my Amazon account had been hacked and I was to pay £95. Think this is a scam
He opened the call...dont worry I am not selling Gas or electric. He then went on to ask if I wanted to sell my business. I said, if you had done your research properly you would see that I am not the owner, only a director. Head office overseas own it. He still argued with me, anyway on closing teh call I told him to wake up. he was the most NON dynaic person I have ever spoken to on the phone. Received several calls from this number despite being registered with TPS. They continued to call me back wanting me to do a lifestyles survey, asking for personal information and saying they could save me from receiving unwanted calls. Oh the irony!
