The point of the scam is to find gullible people who will believe what they say. They are crooks who once they find a victim will ask them for personal details and /or credit card/bank details "So we can proceed with our refund to you" They then commit identity fraud or empty your bank account. Obviously you were the ones they were looking for for them to steal your hard earned money from. I've received 2 or 3 calls in the last few days. Don't know anyone in Rotherham so never answer. As a customer, Vodafone contact me by text, so no logic to the call.

Male phoned and said he had been tasked with contacting me because I had worked in engineering. When I told him I had never worked in this sector, he closed the call. It is apparent from other messages here that this is a claims management company trawling for possible clients.

These people just lie and tell you you have money due back on your rates when you don t! They sound very genuine at first but when you check with valuation office they say that it is a scam. Stay clear

I m getting daily 2 to 3 calls from this number claiming I had an accident. They forcibly try to get personal info. I have given them nothing! BTW I had no accident. My number is registered with TPS and they ignore the law and keep calling, even when I alert them to that fact. BEWARE- SCAM!
