Two unsolicited calls today. I asked who was calling as she was trying to confirm my name and status. Woman said she was ringing about government energy subsidy. When I asked again what company it was she said Just Glass. I Have seen this name mentioned adversely in other reviews. Told her this and hung up.

Fraud - Claiming to be from Sky saying that i have a problem with my broadband - when challenged they hung up.
Caller insisted that he had missed a call from my number. I had made no calls ant told him he must be mistaken. He the aggressively asked for my identity and location. I hung up.

This is different from CRUK (Cancer Research UK). Its Worldwide Cancer Research and they want donations. They keep calling once or a few times a day sometimes.

claimed to be from my internet provider-asked me to confirm router was working ok as had received large volume of calls. When I advised I was not at home(despite the fact they had called my landline) heard whispered conversation with a workmate/supervisor,asked to perform the same check on router again I repeated that I was not at home. According to UoB website this number shouldn't be calling for student fundraising so this is likely a scam. "Our Student Fundraisers will call you from 0121 678 1000, but please note that this number is outgoing only. If you receive a call from a Student Fundraiser, they will be able to send you a verification email while you are on the phone to them. This email will come from [email protected] – a University domain email account."
