Phoned me yesterday, i answered as this is a local number to me. Line was quiet initially, and then a male voice stated where he was calling from (though he said it so fast, no one would have a chance in understanding where he was calling from). He then went on to say "you recent life insurance claim has been refused". I never get these kinds of calls. But I had this number calling me today and yesterday (2 & 3 June 2020) with a recorded message claiming to be from BT and informing you that your internet will be cut off in 24 hours due to suspicious activity on your account. On the 3rd time they called, I actually pressed "1" to "speak to a consultant" and asked them to remove my number from their list. They then just hung up on me. Hopefully that will be the last of that! :-)

Answered as was local number. Guy said something about calling back from CCD and went on immediate blurb about Legal& General, I think, and Life insurance. To be honest wasn't sure. I stopped him and asked where he was from again. When he answered and I replied "but I didn't call you" he then proceeded to tell me "Calling back" doesn't just me I Called them first, mumbled something else and hung up! so still none the wiser. Ultimately rude and can only be considered a cold caller.
