Dangerous Scam, checked this out with my local Lloyds Bank and they said this number had nothing to do with them but would forward on the the fraud section who deal with fake Lloyds Bank scammers etc.
I received a call from someone who said she was from an indecipherable (!) company who was going to check I had the cheapest phone line rate. She said she had a few simple questions about my current phone line. When I asked again who she was working for, she replied she would put me through to " one of our lovely advisers". At this point I rang off.
