020 8144 3803 Windows computer virus scam. They (whoever 'they' are) have been using the same script for years. In fact, this number goes back a while. They con you into giving them access to your PC, plant a virus on it (supposedly) then charge you £100's to remove it. Just hang up & block the number.
SCAM - This is the one which says "HMRC calling you owe money, press 1 to connect to an agent.."
Some indian guy claiming to be from a quality center clqiming that I had registered at some trading platform. I was absolutely sure I hadn't registered on the site by mistake as all my information was there. Funny enough he could not give me the date of my supposed registration! LoL When he noticed he did not get anywhere with me, he abruptly hung up. Quite a rude chap if he really intended quality and customer satisfaction. My guess: part of the ongoing scams on Internet

The person appeared to be from a debt management company. He knew my name. I told him that I do not require his services and that this a spam call.
Two texts from this unknown number claiming to be a smart meter installer.
Scam. Female voice, possibly asian, introduced herself as wanting to talk about my Internet connection and avoided giving her name when asked. She claimed to be calling on behalf of Sky Digital but when asked who she wanted to talk to, hung up.
Man with a thick Indian accent rang claiming to be from BT ringing about the internet slowing down at the house. He had my name and address and postcode. When I asked what my account number was he reeled off a number (which later check was wrong). I said I’d call by back and he gave me an 0333 number saying it was BT customer service. Rubbish! Very clever scammers trying to gain access to your internet where they can steal your bank details etc

I assume this was a phishing attempt as the automatic message claimed to be from "my bank" (no specific bank mentioned) warning me of an Amazon debit and a large international transfer. Press 1 to speak to an "advisor".
Said I was eligible for phone upgrade on O2. I'm on Tesco Network so clearly a scam so hung up.
Believe it is a scam telephone number. It's supposed to be about internet line to be disconnected if ....... Rubbish!!

Text Message Claimed to be a failed delivery. Site looked like post office but as the number is in Manchester and I am in South Wales it looks suspicious.
I had this call yesterday and told them I am not interested in a smart meter. He wanted me to confirm my name and address . They said I won't be contacted anymore. They do announce themselves to contact customers on behalf of EON and are not actually EON.I am sure eon knows about it despite they deny they use such call centres. Automated voice call from this number on Tues 27th June regarding a "transfer from my account in the sum of £1000+ and a transaction to Amazon in the sum of £300+" and I was invited to press button 1 to authorise both transactions which I obviously did not do. There was no description of which "account" involved in either the transfer or the Amazon transaction. Checking all accounts confirms NO cash transfer and NO transaction with Amazon.
