Instead of usual 1 year direct debit if i go for 2 years up front I will get 1 year free lol. he actualy said was from domestic and general. I knew at this point something wrong. he was bang on about my details - but when i said how do i know u are from domestic and general and i will phone them he put phone down

The one time I did answer a young female voice asked for my name, I said "why, who have you called?" she said she couldn t tell me because of data protection?? Seems to be scam for sure. After they dialled I’ve had my number spoofed.
Received SMS pretending to be HMRC saying I was due a rebate. Included a link to website where, it said, I could verify my identity. I did not follow the link, of course. Reported to Action Fraud as phishing attempt.
