Purport to be carrying out a survey. I asked how they got my personal phone detail. No answer to question so they were blocked
SCAM man with Indian accent saying he was from O2 offering 40% discount to their customers and would send a text with offer. Kept saying I hadn't received text so he stayed on the line and kept sending texts. Eventually told him that I wasn't with O2 so he hung up.
SCAM Allegedly from the "Investigations Department" of the National Crime Agency. I'm about to have my National Insurance number suspended and my arrest is pending. Oh well, it was nice knowing you!

Claimed to be from EE offering me an upgrade, either £7 sim only, or £30 unlimited calls/data and an iPhone 14+ for £30, both deals too good to be true! Pushed them to send me the information, got the customer service version of ~what's to think about, just pick one! so I hung up.
Someone is there, but remains silent and then hangs up. Anyone else had the same experience with this number?

I suspect this was a scam/Fraud attempt, a recorded message stated something like..."Crime Investigation, your National Insurance Number and Bank Account are suspended because of a criminal investigation..." Hung up.

Claimed to be from BT hacking dept. Said my connection was being used by a hacker and they would have to close down my line unless I let them install anti hacking software. During the process £1800 was stolen from my credit card and my laptop is unusable. BT says 01623744013 isn't a phone number.
