I had a call from 02084421145 this morning 28/02/2020. It was a recorded message telling me that Amazon Prime was going to take £79 out of my bank account for the annual membership fee. It said if I did not agree then I should press 1 on my phone keypad. I ended the call. I am not an Amazon Prime member!

Automated call - recorded message supposedly from the 'National Crime Agency' - I hung up and blocked the number. They called again a few minutes later from a different number - now also blocked.
Rings, gets answer phone. Then immediately calls back when I answer. Caller is not English then hangs up

When you get these calls try to avoid answering them. They call multiple numbers at the same time and wait for the first person to answer hense why most people get hung up on. Pretty sure they record who ever answers and call these numbers back! Anyone trustworthy would leave a message, you d hope so you can call them back.

Automated message purportedly from VISA about a £600 debit on my account about 10.17am Mon 15 Mar, 2021. Their phone number (sourced from 1471) shares the same first 8 digits with two numbers featured on this site: 211 and 212. They ask for the person responsible for your Electricity and the government guidelines that come into place, I explained the person does not wish to speak to you. The lady got very abrupt saying "the person doesn t want to speak to me, that s alright, I shall contact your provider that you are not interested" I basically put the phone down.

Called about loft insulation. Said if was not a “selling” call it was a survey carried out to see if insulation was to standard. Then went on to say she Kew it was not to current standards but still denied it was a sales call. When I asked her to cut to the chase and not blindly following a script. She became abusive said I was a clever dick if I could see down the phone at what she was doing then she swore at me and hung up. Nice.
