Believe that this number could be associated with Bank Payment scams. I had an automated call from the bank stating that they has identified to suspicions payments against my account and would I confirm 'yes'; or 'no'. When I confirmed that I knew nothing about them I was put through this number which was answered by a man who gave his name as a Paul Butler and stated that he was a member of the Bank Fraud team. A comment he made got me suspicious and I rang off/blocked

I missed a call from this number just now (3.4.23 at 12.51). My son works in Glasgow and I was worried that something might have happened. I tried to call it back x3 and each time, after a long pause, the call failed to connect.

I got a text from this number pretending to have a verification number for Microsoft. I refreshed the website and got Microsoft to send me another a verification number. When Microsoft text you, it will say MICROSOFT. If a mobile number comes up, DO NOT USE THAT CODE.
Call from supposed local exchange and when answerphone cut in automated message informed me money had been taken from my card and to press 1 to contact them. Obvious scam as have had identical message from various numbers over the past year.

I was told I could Google it and when I said I was not going to Google it and I asked again for their number the line went dead.

The call was in relation to a card payment. The call seems fradulant as the card type mentioned was visa and this was wrong.
Yeah, these idiots keep calling me too. My advice is to play along and waste their time. I spent hours providing them false contact and banking details. They got really angry when they kept asking me to confirm the account number. It feels so good wasting their time when then had full intentions of wasting myne / whilst trying to rob me blind . SCAM Pretty sure this is a scam. Text received supposedly from Evri - missed delivery, but following link to redeliver, the site requested card information and redelivery fee. On Evri website, Evri state that if you have missed a parcel, you don't need to do anything as a redelivery will be attempted next day. Scam. Beware. No-one contacting you should be asking for card details.

Getting so fed up with calls from this number, and others including what appear as mobiles, telling me that my "home appliance insurance" with them has expired, or is about to expire, and asking for my bank details so that it can be renewed. Very strange that the company insuring me (they're not, of course) has no idea what appliances I have. Calls coming 2-4 times each day.
Recorded message claiming to be from 'bank security' (bank unidentified) telling me of two transactions of £300 and £1100 made using my 'card' (also unidentified) and asking a for a number to be pressed for further information. I hung up.The number appeared to be a standard Cambridge number, but not one I recognised.
