SCAM claimed to be Tony from Carphone Warehouse but my andriod identified the caller as Al Kareem, a legitimate company, so they are using their number to think they are legit. Unless you use Al Kareem block this number

Just been called from this number claiming to be from BT Openreach wanting my Internet details as my security had been compromised. When challenged the caller was rude and hung up on me.This website suggests the phone is based near Greater Manchester but a phone locator website suggests it is based in London. Calling the number back yielded no response.

After looking into this more, turns out this number is linked to what is known as a locksmith scam. They will over charge and drill out your lock and damage your door instead of just lockpicking it. They are not on the MLA Approved Locksmiths. Although, if you are happy of being overcharged as hell, I am a victim of this scam, but they did come out within 15 minutes, gotta give them that.

"Max" tel.no. 01292388212 called my house phone and asked for me by surname. I didn't confirm. He then told me that I didn't have cover for central heating. I said I have his number and will check with the fraud squad before following up. I then politely hung up. Maybe a legitimate cold call; but I wasn't interested to find out.

I was getting consistent calls from another number in the same area as this one which I blocked yesterday, and now today I’ve already had two calls from this number in the same area. I think it is a sub-contracted call centre (why it might sound disingenuous?) of sales people for Sky broadband or agents on commission from Sky. They did indeed do a realtime broadband speed check on what they could offer compared to Virgin, which shut them down. It was easy then to end the call. Call center
This phone number is listed on Google as a Thai restaurant but seems to be the new phone number for Complete Mathematics. I had to block them previously as they would not stop SPAM calling and now they have a new phone number. This is a reputable company who is allowing their image to be tarnished by these constant calling practices. SPAM
