Trying to sell loft insulation with some sort of government backing. Been called numerous times. Tell them not interested and not to call again. But they always do.
Weird phone call. Called me up on Skype and all you you hear is a voice saying "please hold the line". Call the number back and it instantly gives you the error tone.

This is a survey on behalf of crisis homeless charity. Seemed genuine to me, they do not ask for any personal details except your address to send you a £5 love to shop voucher as a thank you for participating in their survey (but you do not have to give them any personal information whatsoever if you wish to remain anonymous)

An indian sounding guy posing as a Talk Talk techie rings house phone, convinces you that your router is giving out problem signals. Gets you to go online, shows you shed load of viruses, licence expiry and explains due to this you no longer have any security on your pc, the security on pc you have therefore won t work until you pay for the licence agreement renewal and pay £400 for a lifetime security installation from Windows. I have the TruCaller App (Free version) it notifies you of scams, etc before you answer. I will be using this on my new phone, it s a great little App and instantly told me this was a PPI scam. I recommend this App to anyone, and I blocked this number straight away. All numbers TruCaller checks against a huge database of Blaclisted phone numbers.
This is Maidstone Police Station. Ignore people who say it s not. I went into the police station to report a motorist for smashing into my car and leaving the scene, spent an hour with a detective and that same detective called me using this number a few minutes ago. This is DEFINITELY Kent Police.
