Apparently, my Internet connection is unsecure and they are calling to tell me they will disconnect in 4hrs. When challenged - the lady caller wanted me to push combination of keys on keyboard but by this time I was so frustrated that she hung up because I must have sounded rude. She wanted to show me why/how my connection was insecure. -Didn't give her the chance - being described the CTRL / ALT / DELETE buttons as though I'm a child is not acceptable. A guy stating his name was Jerry and claimed to be calling from Glasgow about gas boilers but sounded Indian called me from this number. After stating that I didn't have gas he hung up. I looked up the number and it appears to be a London number. Do these people not know where they are in the UK or are they calling from abroad?

A very strong Caribbean accented gentleman calling on what appeared to be a poor quality Internet phone line. I could not understand where he said he was calling from or on behalf of what organisation. He launched into his script and seemed unfazed by me stating that the newspaper I read was the 'Mickey Mouse Weekly' and although chuckled did not question me further when I told him my age was 155. The 'interview' continued by me giving similarly stupid answers to some questions and refusing to answer others

A female caller with an Indian accent stated she was from Microsoft support requesting access to the PC. After stating 'not interested' she called back 4 more times. She knew my home address which is worrying.

I never get these kinds of calls. But I had this number calling me today and yesterday (2 & 3 June 2020) with a recorded message claiming to be from BT and informing you that your internet will be cut off in 24 hours due to suspicious activity on your account. On the 3rd time they called, I actually pressed "1" to "speak to a consultant" and asked them to remove my number from their list. They then just hung up on me. Hopefully that will be the last of that! :-)
