Carphone warehouse. Constantly calling on variety of numbers. So annoying. When I do answer a different number and it's them again, I am very short with them.
I quoue from the text message: "Kevin attempted to deliver your parcel today but no one was home. Reschedule the delivery via: https://my-fedex-parcel-gb.com" - I have not ordered anything and the text was sent at 11pm and while I was home. I suspected a scam right away. I will NOT be clicking on that link in the text message.

Received a call on my mobile at around 11.30am, and was told I had a refund via PPI from a credit card or loan. Had to ask me which one and from which bank. (Should know all this before calling me, how else would they know if I m owed anything?) I have to UK based lenders that I am paying back and missed to payments due to being out of work during the pandemic. Why would my lenders send cold calls from Russia to collect payments when everyother person I have spoken to and all of the call centres have been based in the UK? lots of calls from Crime Prevention company they will just not give up even trying to con a colleague into saying yes when I have already told them no!!! Had similar experience previously by a different name and they actually only ever printed 12 copies of their newspaper which we had been asked to advertise in! This is how they can seem legal. I had a call from 08004118899 trying to persuade me to buy plan to cover a Hotpoint washing machine as according to them my warranty has expired. Since I have never registered this machine and I doubt the respected shop from which it was bought would give them my details I was suspicious of their company and proposed service. Looking at these comments it would appear I am correct in resisting their advances.
