Kept him busy on the line and believing that I was following his instructions (which - if actually done- would give him remote access to my computer). At he point when he asked whether "something was coming" I held the phone to the toilet and pulled the flush. This is a scam - if you do what they are asking you will most likely have your computer locked and asked to pay a ransom for getting access to it again. Genuine

I contacted Talktalk as my phone was no longer displaying my caller's number. Unable to solve this issue they said that they would contact BT Openreach to send an engineer to check my local box as a last resort but there was no guarantee that it 'd be fixed. I am since being bombarded with these Openreach calls. They tend to call early in the morning & never leave any message. TalkTalk gave my number originally to Openreach who put me in their cold calls marketing list. I have blocked/barred this number.

Caller advised they were from "Chase Alexander" - asked for me by name - regarding RTC. I asked when was the RTC (last one I had was 2011), they replied in the last 2 years. Told them the last RTC was before that. They asked if they had their records mixed up with someone else at my address. I asked what address they had for me and they hung up. Sounds like they are trying to obtain personal details - possible vishing scam - AVOID!!!

I received several calls from a company called UK Energy Council Utility working on behalf of National Grid. They said that I was basically being overcharged by my current suppliers and asked me for my bill to obtain the supply number. They were very inquisitive seeking information that should have been known. I did not provide the information as they appeared dodgy. I was then told that I should continue to be ripped of by my current suppliers.
