Calling about a "factory accident" claim I could make. Bunch of rubbish.
Our number is registered with the TPS. This call came at 09:50 on Monday. Recorded (or synthesised) Northern English (Huddersfield?) male voice. Claimed to be calling from Amazon about illegal/suspicious "activity on your account", as a result of which a charge of over £1,000 to "the card linked to the account" had been stopped. Pressing 9 does not remove number from the call list, pressed 5 instead to speak to an operator (Scott) who promptly put the phone down when I politely tried to have my number removed, redialing the number gets you a recorded message stating the call was sales related and nothing to worry about!
They wanted to speak to home owner, I said tell me who you are first she said you give me your address and phone number first I again said tell me who you are.. She shouted fine...

SCAM Call received today 15th Feb 2021. Computerised call. Pretended to be from HMRC and that my name was recorded as a tax fraud and a warrant would be issued against me if I didn't press 1 now. I am an accountant in practice who has dealt with the HMRC for 30 years. This a SCAM. The HMRC will never call you like this on such matters. If you do owe money to HMRC only pay them through the secure channels listed on the government website and ensure it is your reference you are making the payment against.

received call from man with indian accent, he said he is calling from national accident helpline - i told him to remove my details from his database and never call back again. if only that was true. i have also reported this on the national accident helpline website and apparently it isn t them so i don t know what else to do.
