SCAM Caller said they were from BT open reach. Asking about internet connection but our provider is Vodafone. When the caller was told of this she called me a fucking bitch and said I’d wasted her time. Not sure if it was a genuine call or the start of a Scam call. Be aware

Scam connected to the Excel Hotel group, part of ONA Group in Spain. When rung back it goes to an international ring tone and an extension on a phone system.

Someone offering me an available slot on the front page of Google for a month. Told me they were from Google and then when I queried that, claimed to be an official partner. No one, not even Google themselves, can guarantee you a specific slot on Google. Hang up and ignore.

Foreign sounding woman claimed to be from Amazon about recent order. I asked her several times 'What is Amazon?' and she hung up.

Automated call; supposedly from bank, but no name of bank mentioned. Two allegedly suspicious transactions mentioned. followed by a press-button menu. When I called my genuine bank it was confirmed there were no suspect transactions.

I have a Sky and 02 contract, different phones. I had a call from this number purporting to be 02 on my Sky phone; took me a while to realise! Offered me a 45% discount on my bill for 2 years with no catches??? Spoke in an Indian accent, very fast, so not easy to understand. Asked for my full name, which I queried as he was supposed to have my account records. However, not giving anything away, I did so but he misspelled everything. SCAM Automated voice purporting to be Amazon stating prime membership has lapsed and requires to be renewed. My Prime membership is fine and I doubt that Amazon would be calling about it, especially from a local Dundee number!
