Lots of missed calls from this (and very similar) number - suspect it is cold calling scammers!

This number rang today but hung up part way through the answerphone message. After reading comments here and elsewhere, I rang and asked for our number to be removed from their database. The guy I spoke to was happy to do this and also happy to tell me that the third party from whom they receive numbers is Communications Avenue. Looks like these are the people we should really be shutting down. A quick Googke shows that they re based in Newark.

I just received a call off this number I am on a pre payment deal of just over £60 a fortnight, payment was due today and I always pay online.... Returned this call to find out more because it is not listed in any database of who called me numbers. Got a message machine that said mailbox 876, recording and then simply instructions for leaving your recorded message. I see that there have been 135 searches for this number as of 24 Jan 2017, but no results. Very odd.

Had two calls, allegedly from this number, today. Pre-recorded message as Rachel above, about HMRC filing a law suit against me.

A recruitment agent called me, but due to being in the car with background noise I couldn't quite catch the name of the company.

This company calls me lots of times. Sometimes hanging up causing an inconvenience and wasting my time. I wish something could be done to stop them calling.
