Several calls and they hang up. Some spoke today, lot of noise in the background and I asked him to repeat something twice, he shouted at me "Are you deaf" and hung up.

tried selling me "extra good sim card", claiming to be from VM, didnt go through the tpical VM log in [you now enter various digits of passcode with keypad, NOT by voice], poor english, noisy line, they have phoned three times in the last two days from the same numer, I have now blocked their call.

Having signed up to the TPS I would love to find out who they are. No-one there when I do answer and I won't call back in case it's diverted to a premium number. Beware!

Male Asian voice claimed to be from Talk Talk phoning customers about the internet connection being currently unsafe!! I put the phone down after saying that I was not interested.

The point of the scam is to find gullible people who will believe what they say. They are crooks who once they find a victim will ask them for personal details and /or credit card/bank details "So we can proceed with our refund to you" They then commit identity fraud or empty your bank account. Obviously you were the ones they were looking for for them to steal your hard earned money from. "John" called from Microsoft Customer Services or similar. Apparently I have a problem with security on my computer. Kept him chatting and got his number. Told him I would call him back after I had let the police know.

This number belongs to a Savings and investment company. Was very bad reception on the call but the company name started with the word Scottish. I couldn t make out the rest.

Guy called "Jim"c asked for me and said he had 30 tickets reserved for my daughter (he used her name) @ 45euros for 5 Irish Lotto tickets. Claimed to be fromm Winners Lotto, gave the number (confirmed by 1471) and a website winner lotto.org. website exists but I wouldn t trust it.

Just had a call from this number claiming to be from my mobile provider. Very aggressive manner, extremely pushy, didn t ask if I had time to speak to them. Wanted to know how many mobile phones were used in my home: tempted to say 126 to annoy him, but quite frankly its none of his business. I am the contract holder and he should have my account information o hand if he is actually working for EE or Orange!!! If these calls don t stop I shall change provider!
