Purported to be HSBC querying a payment. I don t believe it for one moment as I do not have an HSBC account or card! nThis is a SCAM.
SCAM Presented themselves as an online competition for a DELL laptop through The Warehouse New Zealand. They asked for an entry fee to get our bank card number, took the entry fee then 3 days later took more money. The bank transaction shows as Highgames.Online and the number +44753717396 4691792... which the first part I thought might be a UK phone number, hence my post here. Was quite polite the first time they rang - did the survey (with reservations) now the same number keeps ringing me - usually to try and get me to sponsor a charity or buy a newspaper. Ignore it.

Missed call - called 3 times so far today without leaving a message.
I joined vanquis a few months ago, I had no idea how vile the company actually is! I paid 70 pound last month and my minimum payment of 15 pound and I have had 10 calls in the past 3 days. They are sneaky though using up to 7 different numbers. Bare in mind my job salary is only 450 a month and I live in my own house so 70 pound is a huge amount for me to pay. I hope this company fails. It ll cause a lot less problem for me in the long run.

These JOKERS are a SCAM JOB, and have CHANGED THEIR PHONE NUMBER TO TRY AND CATCH US OUT. Call Blocking Services active on the OLD NUMBER can t help. SCAM Said they were O2. Very convincing. Sent an OTP, like a fool, I gave it to them. By the time their call ended, and I got through to O2 (max 10 minutes), they’d already changed my email and postal addresses. O2 tell me the only time they will ask for the OTP is when a customer calls them. Looks like I stopped them in time, all details now changed, and security info changed, but be careful people. I’m a cautious type, but they fooled me
