ALLEGEDALLY from an Internet internet provider suggesting that there had been some illegal activity from my internet. At this point I put the phone down. It is obviously a SCAM. I will be blocking this number.
The call was from a VISA fraud checking unit. However the number was the fax number for a garage in Penkridge, Stafford that closed down some time ago. Clearly scammers have cloned the number.
SCAM This started out as a text asking if i was Anna. They werent sure they had the right No. I said no it wasnt. They then initiated a conversation which soon led to them asking for personal info. Fraud 07716393164- government energy bill discount text asking you to click on the link to apply, I stupidly fell for this giving away my personal details and bank account details including the security number on the back of my card, I thought I was scam savvy but not as much as I thought I was, caught in time with a call from my bank to cancel my card...be aware, this is a text, I've reported it to 7726.
UK Number 7442644606 Caller plays an automated message saying 'Your National Insurance has been compromised in Wales etc...Before we take any Legal action against you for its misuse, talk to our officer". This seems highly suspicious as there have been no notification whatsoever for the same via either postal-mails or emails etc.

Called by this number on 5th may. I`m told my someone has tried to take two payments totaling thousands from my account. The man did`nt mention my name but said he`d transfere me to another department. If the transaction was wrong. He also did`d mention what card or bank was being threatened. Since I rarely have more than £50 in the bank , Itake it as a case of rotten cheese.
