Believe that this number could be associated with Bank Payment scams. I had an automated call from the bank stating that they has identified to suspicions payments against my account and would I confirm 'yes'; or 'no'. When I confirmed that I knew nothing about them I was put through this number which was answered by a man who gave his name as a Paul Butler and stated that he was a member of the Bank Fraud team. Fraud Call claiming to be from HMRC -recorded message- 'if you don't press 1 a warrant will be issued'.
They said they are from the government and want to check if I am at home. I was isolating following my return after travelling abroad. I confirmed as I was isolating at home. The caller then wanted me to divulge personal details which made me suspect the call as the passenger locator form has all my details. I refused and at that point the caller threatened me and said I would be reported fro not cooperating and the threats got more, and he said I would get into trouble, at which point I hung up.
