SCAM - Claiming to be from 02 and asking for security code to access the account and give you a monthly discount. Fortunately the text that’s sent with the code warns to hand up immediately if code is being requested via the phone. Stay vigilant!

This number 01133100118 which shows as Leeds rang me & offered to beat my network provider by 30% without knowing who i was with, 5 minutes later the same man (john) rang me again with the same offer, this time the number 01143560006 came up as Sheffield. Leeds to Sheffield in less than 5 minutes is pretty fast so i think these numbers are being spoofed from a computer.

Caller says you've suspicious transactions on your card, knows your name and last four digits of the card. Asks you to check the balance, in my case without any security questions. Hung up on me and didn't call me back when I told him I keep very little in the account, whilst I was silently checking the account in the background. Was called this morning about 10am was a recorded message, saying we need your authority to pass payment to amazon of £500, and also about a £1000 that needs authorising, the recorded message was crackling and hard to hear all but i just hung up. then did 1471 to see who it was as they made out it was my bank wanting authorisation.

This is a recorded message saying that 2 transactions have been made on my account withdrawing around £1500. It's was obviously a scam so I just put the phone down. I often wonder what their mums think!

SCAM stated huge payments from my account and payments to Amazon. Beware

Call today and said that they are from Amazon Prime and my subscription expires. I don't want to continue so I disconnected call.

Claimed to be from Vodafone working from home as I queried why the number isnt recognised calls weekly regarding our phone lines and phishes for information

Called me claiming someone had bought 'a smartphone' on my Amazon account. Insisted I went to 'a computer' to check my emails. Got bored and told him to f**k off.

Apparently, I've already taken my partners name as that's who they asked for! Indian accent didn't ask for much more after I said "sure" then spoke to someone else before I hung up. Just don't answer

02394352784 called 26 may 23 at 08:14 hrs..... Male caller said his records showed my property roof insulation was old sub-standard material and should be replaced to improve efficiency. Told the caller his records were out of date as they were the last time he called.... so I don't think we have anything to discus. Hung up. Last previous call was from 02394352784 26 April 23 at 0832hrs.

SCAM It's a scammer, trying to get you registered on a fake tradingplatform to earn money but only after you bought in with 100+ USD.

I was called from this number allegedly 'Virgin media' did not trust the caller so dialed it back to find out it was a residential number whose number had been scammed. On calling Virgin and my bank fortunately they never got anything. Just hang up and block number.

When I said I was retired, she said I wouldn’t be eligible for a tax rebate when I asked what the reason for the call was. She signed off.

Someone called "John" with a strong Indian accent supposedly calling form Virgin Media about my broadband speed. If you dial this number it gets you to Leeds General Infirmary...
