cALLING ABOUT A CAR ACCIDENT I NEVER HAD

Asked about an all-inclusive holiday I'd had in the last 2 years. I said I hadn't had one and he said 'Ok, I'll update our records' then hung up.

They keep calling me, in the states. I thought it might be business or a friend, but just a gent with an Indian accent starting a pitch. I think the "block" feature on my android should be on all phones, then these fellows will have to work for a living. Nice story, the one above "Manchester".

I ve been receiving daily calls from this number for the last 1.5 months, I tried answering at first, asking them to remove me from their database. Then I got calls with no message/answer at the other end. In the end I blocked them using my mobile phone block service, however in the last week, I ve received a number of "private number" calls, which I happen to have missed - but when checking last night noticed that they ve all come either at the same time or 1 minute later than a blocked call from 01942

Called my elderly grandad just now (isn?t the first time). He couldn?t understand him so passed the phone to me. I told him we didn?t have either and he carried on trying to talk, so I repeated that we didn?t have either and to not call again and he hung up. I'm unsure about this number - people claiming it to be Amazon Prime, Specsavers, electricity and Welsh Water amongst others. But it could be Welsh Water as we had a call from this number this morning (it was blocked by CallGuardian) and our water has been cut off due to a burst watermain. The companies should make it clear on their own website what numbers they call you from so you can tell if they're genuine or not.
