Seems to be a scammer.
Called our company asking for the branch manager to carry out a survey on energy contracts & customer satisfaction. Told him it s all decided through head office so our branch manager wouldn t deal with it. He then asked if he could call back at a more convenient time, (obviously didn t listen to a word i d just told him!) at which point i told him no he couldn t call back at a more convenient time, no thank you & hung up on him. Logged him on our nuisance call list to be blocked by our telecoms company

SCAM- CLAIMED TO BE HMRC -THEY SAID THEIR WAS A TAX FRAUD IN MY NAME. i ASKED THEM WHAT MY NAME WAS. SHE (NOT ENGLISH) SAID SHE WAS NOT ALLOWED TO GIVE ME THAT I SHOULD GIVE HER MY DETAILS NOW OR SHE WOULD SEND THE POLICE IMMEDIATELY. I TOLD HER i WOULD PUT THE KETTLE ON FOR WHEN THEY ARRIVED! Scam calls usually related to Crypto. They generate new fake spoofed numbers (including this one), and call from UK, China, and other random countries. Previous owner of my phone number must have signed up on their website for information, but they have been calling me for over a year despite me saying its not the right person.

"Brian" called from this number. He called me last week from a different mobile (which I blocked) introducing himself as "Barry". I recognised his voice and told him to jog on (words to that effect) so he didn t have the opportunity to tell me again that he was calling on behalf of a creditor who was threatening to take legal action regarding insufficient loan repayments. This is the 3rd time this number has called me this month. The first 2 times the caller left a voice mail message to call them back. The caller was female and said her name was Lisa or Louisa, couldn t really tell as they spoke so quickly it was difficult to understand. No details of why they were calling. I did not call them back. The third call as soon as I answered they hung up. Note: If you don t answer their call they leave a voice mail, unfortunately at my expense!!!
